It's a Wonderful Life - Sponsored by Liberty Bank
The Park Ridge Community Fund benefit of the annual Christmas movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” which was sponsored by Liberty Bank, and free to the public was hosted on December 9.
Thank you to Liberty Bank for once again generously sponsoring the movie and donating an Apple iPad as a grand raffle prize. A very happy Dennis Murphy from Edison Park won the iPad. Between the donations received at the door and the raffle ticket sales, the PRCF received proceeds of $3,500.
Ralph Cox played the historic organ before the movie and the Willow Academy Chamber Choir in beautiful Renaissance gowns and capes sang Christmas carols in the lobby of the theatre.
Since 1958, the Park Ridge Community Fund has been the easiest way to help neighbors of all ages and with a wide array of critical needs, right here at home. The PRCF is here to assess the needs of our community, and then raise and allocate funds to help meet those needs. Volunteers – who live or work in Park Ridge – control all aspects of PRCF’s activities. With one convenient gift to PRCF, you help 29 service organizations make life better, neighbor to neighbor.
